Job Summary

J Edward Knight Insurance is growing and we are seeking a motivated individuals to join the team in our Boothbay Harbor office. To succeed in this Personal Lines Customer Service Representative position, applicant should be customer-focused, able to multi-task, be a good communicator and enjoy working with people to identify risk exposure and suggest solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Quoting and selling new personal lines policies
  • Servicing existing personal lines accounts
  • Working with referral sources to obtain new client relationships
  • Processing renewals and endorsements
  • Assisting with billing questions and payments

Qualifications and Skills

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office
  • Proficient computer skills
  • An active Maine P&C license is recommended but we will train the right individual with proven customer service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
